I grew up in a small business family in Montana. My parents have ran their own successful logging business for over thirty years. As a kid growing up and working with my parents doing both labor and office work, I was able to develop a unique perspective on business.
In 1982 or 1983, I got my first computer. It was a clone of the original Compaq "Portable." (More like luggable!) From that point on I have had an insatiable desire to make this wonderful tool a integral part of my life. To that end, while still in high school I started working for the company we bought the computer from. I did it all; sales, repairs, networking, programming, training and computerized bookkeeping.
I continued in my interest in computers and accounting and graduated from Pacific Lutheran University with a business degree. I obtained a dual concentration in Accounting and Management Information Systems.
I have been consulting on a full and part time basis since 1993 while maintaining a number of jobs where I have utilized my skills to the advantage of my employers.
Some of my positions include: Staff Accountant, Systems Analyst, Retail Sales & Management, Office Manager, Accountant, Controller, IS Manager, Implementation Consultant and General Manager.
My unique communication and management skills, along with my ability to quickly learn and understand a business allows me to offer many things to my clients. Please contact me to see what I can offer you.
